I work in two schools which are both considered Title One schools. This means each school has many students that come from low-income families. Just getting students here and ready to learn is no easy feat. Many of the students on my caseload are working significantly below grade level in all academic area's. They often have more than one disability (speech and language along with a learning disability, ADHD, or Autism). They need to learn how to adapt to their world and express themselves appropriately.
