Greetings All! I would like to welcome you to the wonderful world of FIRST GRADE! I have been teaching for 4 years in Dallas ISD at Ronald E. McNair Elementary School! I will be starting my 5th year teaching in August 2016. I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten for 3 years. Those children are very special and near and dear to my heart! This past year I taught 1st grade for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! This coming year I will still be teaching 1st grade BUT I will only be teaching Reading Language Arts and Social Studies! I am excited about fostering a love for reading through my classroom theme READER'S THEATER! I want to create magical moments in my student's lives, so that when they leave me they will be life long learners and have LOVE for reading!
