My students are special because all kids matter and have value. Covid 19 has impacted learning immensely over the past few years. We have experienced attendance issues that directly impact learning. We are constantly trying to help those kids stay caught up with the rest of the class. The best methods we have found are continuous reading with high interest and engaging strategies. We have found that students are able to reach their full potential. My fourth-grade students come from all different backgrounds. Each student has experienced the pandemic in their own personal way.
