Each of my students have been identified as having multiple disabilities that affect their learning. However, you would not know this by peeking inside my classroom. My students strive to learn and grow. They are excited about new topics and ideas and jump at the chance to meet and exceed any challenge presented to them. My students are bright spots in my day. Their smiles and laughs light up our classroom and have the ability to make the darkest and gloomiest of days seem small and insignificant. With each of my students comes specific needs and learning abilities. Each and every student learns and grows at a different level and pace. Students need varying approaches in teaching to make sure they are and that they will become successful both inside and outside the classroom.
