My students are energetic and inquisitive 8th graders who attend a larger, public suburban school in the heart of the Midwest. We qualify for Title 1 funds, and about a third of my students are from low income families who cannot afford to buy all their school supplies. I teach 4 classes of Algebra to Honors 8th grade math students and 2 classes 8th grade General Science. My students have developed a love of learning Algebra and Science because of current technologies. I believe that students learn best when they enjoy learning. My goal is for students to enjoy learning Algebra and Science, while developing a solid understanding of Algebra and Science content.
