The study of landforms is important in understanding an ecosystem. Soil, run-off, erosion, dams, and precipitation are some of the factors that impact the living space, water, and food of organisms. The students will be able to manipulate the landscape and the stream while studying how water erodes the land.
Our Wyoming landscape is beautiful and the students have many opportunities to explore and study the effects of water on the land, however to see how the process works on a small scale and to change and modify that process will develop a deeper understanding of the powerful force water of water on the land.
