Help me give my students the math and literacy tools (counters, dry erase boards, cubes and alphabet magnets) they need to be successful in distance learning. My students come from at or below poverty homes and do not have the manipulatives that they need to build strong math and literacy skills. Virtual learning allows me to guide their education, but without manipulatives they are not active participants.
Providing at home math kits will allow my students to practice the math and literacy skills that they need to be successful. Each math kit will have cubes, counters, dry erase boards and magnetic letters to use during our virtual lessons and during independent practice when not in virtual lessons.
