I have read many books, taken classes and listened to multiple Podcasts on Dyslexia. One thing that sticks out in my mind is that students with Dyslexia need a systematic program to become better readers. The Jolly Phonics Program was recommended in one of the books I have read by Sally Shaywitz who is a renowned researcher for Dyslexia. The Jolly Phonics Program will help meet the needs of my students in my special education classroom. It will help them become confident, functional readers. I love my students and want to help them be successful. With the help of Donorschoose, I can reach the goal of meeting my students needs. Thank you for the opportunity!!!
