I teach 2nd and 3rd grade music classes. This is most of my students' first experience with music instruments of any kind. These 8 djembe drums will be used across the entire school among 625 students to enrich their daily musical experience. Students will learn about rhythm, beats, and how to be a great musician within a group. I want to insure that my students will learn to play their instruments correctly and produce good quality sound in the future. My students would be so grateful and excited to receive these percussion tools. They will help them develop their fundamentals of music and rhythm as well as a resource for our community performance.

About my class
