Learning remotely is not ideal but we are faced with some uncharted waters this school year and I want my students to have the basics they need to be as successful as possible.
This project will give my students the basic school supplies that so many of them lack at home. Starting the year with materials such as pencils, scissors, and paper will at least begin to address the equity gap facing our low- income students and allow them to begin focusing on school work and achievement, rather than leaving them to worry about these must- have materials in order to be successful learners.
