Thank you for taking the time to view my project. I am a 4th grade teacher with 21 years teaching experience. I began my career in Fontana teaching 6th grade for 11 years. My family moved to the IE and I transferred to Val Verde USD where I taught 6th grade for 4 years. Six years ago I transferred to the elementary level and have enjoyed every minute. Our student population is 80-90% second language learners. We are a Title One school with 95% free or reduced lunch. My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of them live in foster care, living with their grandparents, and/or living with a single parent. I want to be able to give my students the best possible 4th grade experience. I strive to create life long learners ready for the 21st century. Your support will help to make their 7 hours a day in my class as meaningful as possible.
