My students come from a variety of different homes and backgrounds and needs. Some of my children's families struggle to make ends meet so it is difficult to ask for additional supplies . We encourage hands on learning . We create special theme projects such as recipes or crafts to increase language and learning. The children so enjoy making dough, arts and crafts or books. With touching, seeing, hearing , smelling and even tasting , my students are using all their sense to learn and grow! As a teacher I often dip into my family budget to create group projects .
