The students have asked to have more playground equipment to help them be active during recess. Students have said that when they do not have recess equipment they get bored and sometimes get into trouble. We are seeking to purchase basketballs, playground balls, footballs, jump ropes, cones, a recess equipment cart and such. This equipment will be used to help students be engaged and enjoy their time at recess. Activities and games can then be organized and set-up daily for kids to have many fun choices to be active.
This equipment will help students become more active during their recess time and in turn help them become healthier. This equipment will also give the students the opportunity to learn to play together and build character with one another. By engaging in fun play during recess, students will become re-energized and ready to get back to the classroom and learn more.
