This will be our first year in a new building with a kitchen at our disposal! My students need cookware, utensils, small appliances to learn and practice cooking as a functional living skill that promotes independence. Having the ability to choose your foods and prepare them the way YOU like them is a basic independent skill that brings people joy. I want this for my students. I want them to cook, enjoy their food and be able to share that joy with family, friends, and the community. That is independence.

About my class
