I have worked in a Title 1 (economically disadvantaged) school for the last six years. Through out my years teaching, I have witnessed the benefit of using technology devices on a daily basis for my special education, ESL (English as a second language), and GT (gifted and talented) students.
As their teacher, my number one goal is to meet the needs of my students. I am constantly searching for ways to help each child. I have attempted to fulfill this goal by differentiating my instruction, creating lessons to incorporate technology, and allowing my students design their own presentations to illustrate their learning. By my students having i-pads, it forces me as an educator to enhance my instruction as well as broaden my teaching abilities. I-pads change the way teachers teach and students learn. With i-pads, I will be able to create unique opportunities for my students individual learning styles at every level.
