My fifth grade science classes will be learning about our environment and the effect that constructive and destructive processes has on surface features. My students will be able to use the microscopes to study the effects depositing, weathering, erosion, and organisms has on surface features.
My students will collect their data and make observations using the microscopes. My students will be able to see the difference between surfaces that have and have not been effected.
Being able to conduct these experiments and observations will allow my students to work together in the classroom and share their findings with others. My students will be able to use what they are learning in science with what they are learning in social studies as well. My students will benefit greatly from being able to have these hands-on experiences.
