This project will provide my students with Scholastic News which will give them a view of the world and current events around them. When given the journal prompt, Ïf I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to _____." They often reply with answers such as Walmart, Dollar Store, or McDonaldś. A subscription to this Scholastic News would provide them with the opportunity to see that there is a great big world out there just waiting for them to explore. I want to expose them to every opportunity I can in the classroom to dream big. Bringing kid friendly events to the classroom would be a tremendous help!
