Students will be learning programming skills through Scratch 2.0, which is a free program developed by MIT. This program allows students to use their creativity to develop animation, tell stories, and much more. They are required to work collaboratively and use problem solving skills to come up with a solution. Students can apply what they have learned through hands-on experience programming the Makeblock mBot Robot. This robot can be programmed to do just about anything. Having access to the Makeblock Arduino mBot Educational Robot Kits will allow students an opportunity to apply these skills and encourage further exploration and interest in computer science.
