Over the last year and a half, students have spent a great deal of time learning behind a screen. The items I have requested will be used to create a Maker Space in our classroom that will present opportunities to learn and engage with meaningful hands-on experiences. Students will be able to learn the basics of sewing and crocheting, find out about different well-know artists and mimic some of the styles and techniques they used and delve into electricity and how it works by manipulating circuit boards and eventually making working flashlights.
