I have a classroom full of books, but my students have no where to keep them! Book boxes would give my students a place to keep multiple books that they could read independently or with partners during stations. Having multiple books in one place ensures that more learning is taking place because students have all of their materials in one palace, and they don't have to spend time looking for books when they should be reading. It would allow the students to have ownership over their reading since they choose books which were interesting to them! The goal for all of my students is for them to leave second grade as life-long readers who love books, and this would be a great way to help them reach that goal!
