The Handwriting Without Tears materials requested will allow our students with special needs the opportunity to work in a mulitsensory hands on approach to learn writing skills.
Many of the students we serve in this program are not able to learn in a traditional manner and this program and it's components provide materials for alternative learning. These materials include wood pieces to build letters, magnetic pieces to assemble letters, playdough and trays with the matching letter cards to build letters, a workbook that breaks down letter writing into simple components for each student. This program was created by an OT from a developmental approach.
