If you were to walk into my classroom you would see students engaged in hands-on lessons. I am a teacher that loves to move and work in small groups AND so do my students! In my classroom we utilize small groups daily during all subject areas. My students are immersed in learning when they work together in groups.
If we believe in active student learning, we must consider the variety of ways in which students are encouraged to participate. Having these tables would benefit my class tremendously! My students would be actively participating with one another, while learning comfortably in a safe environment at these tables.
