Middle school students struggle with organization. Interactive notebooks help them to be engaged, and creative while learning about the geography and cultures of people and places around the world. Many of my students don't come to school with the supplies they need to keep their notebooks organized and effective for learning.
By having storage carts separated by student work group, it will decrease classroom disruptions that often take place when students have to walk around the room looking for supplies. Students will learn how to share and work in teams with the supplies they need at their fingertips. The quality of their notebooks will certainly help students to study more efficiently and be more successful. As well as help prepare them to be more organized as they prepare to enter high school and beyond.
