We have learned that students, and adults, learn best in a variety of ways. We don't all learn best by sitting down all day. Stand up desks have shown a lot of promise in helping active children focus better.
When we put children in their comfort zones, we go a long way toward ensuring they will learn. Offering my students an opportunity to stand up with these 5 Alphabetter desks will allow them to have the flexibility of some movement during class time. They will not be thinking about how much they need to move (or wish they could). Instead, they will be able to focus on what I'm teaching and will be better able to learn.
