Research shows that allowing students to sit in flexible seating increases their focus. With a fulfilled project, I would be able to offer my students a variety of seating options based on what best meets their needs. My students will be able to use stability balls, stools, pillows and bean bag chairs to become more comfortable in our classroom.
A comfortable student is a happy student! When we feel happy and comfortable in our surroundings, it's much easier to learn.
We will use the seating throughout the school day. By letting my students choose the type of seating that best meets their needs, I expect to see progress both academically and behaviorally.
