Learning has really changed in the classroom, and it's because technology has enhanced education. Without the use of technology, learning can be dull and mundane. Students need technology in order to develop skills essential for the 21st century. These skills that can be developed in the classroom. Also, technology has the ability to improve teaching, because it engages students. All students should have access to technology in the classroom. I know that life is difficult for parents, and providing kids with a device, can be too costly. Most of my students have their own device, but there are a few that do not. The students that do not feel left out and are not enthused about learning. I use technology pretty regularly. I use Nearpod to introduce my lessons, and the students are really engaged with this online learning resource. My classes do research, assessment activities, and use Discovery Education. As you can see, we are pretty busy using technology. The ability to have devices for my students, who are unable to afford them, would be a great blessing!
