Our kindergartners made tremendous growth last school year. As their 1st grade teacher, I want to continue that growth. To ensure my high-need students have as much exposure to books as possible, I want to provide a classroom listening center. Currently, my students only have access to a small classroom library of books.
With access to a listening center my students will be able to listen and read along while growing as readers and learners.
A donation would provide listening center materials like a CD player, headphones, and audible books that will be used everyday during English and Language Arts Centers. Your generous donation to our project will improve our first grade classroom by building stronger readers. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success in reading at an early age --- and have fun while learning!
