I am starting in a new classroom and want to help my students be ready to learn as a whole class. A beautiful, colorful rug will give our class the opportunity to gather together! Students that feel comfortable and have their own space can learn more effectively! The classroom environment is truly the first thing I can provide to my students before learning can happen. Having a gathering place allows our class to learn together without distraction. This rug can also be used to help support their learning of the alphabet, as well as, colors and phonics. I hope to use the rug as a very important part of our classroom!
