The donation of high interest books from this project will encourage my students to read. The books will also help my students to love reading, because they will have a variety of books to choose from. I plan to use these high interest books by giving my students choices when selected books for reading. I will help my students build their reading stamina and comprehension skills. Reading will become part of their daily lives. I will design lessons that will teach my students strategies to think about what they are reading. I will coach my students to use those strategies until they are able to use them independently.
