Spending time stimulating their senses helps children develop cognitively, linguistically, socially, emotionally, physically and creatively. Your donation will help our students overcome their sensory issues while having fun! Hands-on learning has long lasting benefits for all children. During center time, the students will be using the tables for activities such as: color mixing, mixing goop (corn starch and colored water), bubbles, flour and water, sand, rice projects and many more. The table will also encourage turn taking, sharing and positive social interactions with each other. Our school is a charter school with limited resources and welcomes and greatly appreciates this type of opportunity.
