By providing my students with tables versus desks they will be able to work more efficiently as a group. The students currently have desks in groups that are all different heights. This makes any group activities harder. The students will be able to work side by side with ease. Our students often come from homes with a lack of community and belonging. Providing seating arrangements that allow the students to be side by side comfortable, support one another, and learn from each other will help instill the psychological need of belonging. The easel will provide easy access for students to make reading and writing come to life, along with math assignments.
