As my students enter into middle school they are quickly adjusting to an increased amount of personal responsibility. Part of my mission in P.E is to teach them responsibility by taking ownership in maintaining our equipment. We have over 1500 kids (6th-8th) with 200-220 of them accounting for 6th grade. Due to having a large number of kids & multiple grades/clubs using our gym, maintaining/accounting for equipment is very important. This locker will hold our equipment and help with accounting purposes. This project will promote responsibility & ownership amongst my 6th graders in maintaining our equipment. This locker will be of great help for my classroom/gym.
