A projectable microscope will teach my students scientific technique. By being able to project an image of the specimen under the microscope my students will have a basis for discussion with their partners and the class. They will be able to make many discoveries about the structures of plants and insects.
We will relate this to the mathematical patterns in nature as we learn about Fibonacci and his work with numbers. They will be able to use this knowledge to generate word problems for math and writing for our science journals.
My students deserve a state of the art education. This will help bring technology in my classroom up to 21st century standards.
