My students need access to appropriate and exciting books to help them ignite their love for reading.
Having a classroom library full of different genres, topics, and levels provides my students the opportunity to control their choices for reading. It's important for my students to learn how to select just right books, as well as feel empowered by their own reading goals.
This classroom library will allow my students to build their stamina while reading independently, adding book recommendations forms to our wall, and simply fostering a love of reading.
