Fourth and Fifth Grade Math is all about Fractions and Decimals. My mixed age class will cover a lot of material, and having concrete representations of fractions and decimals will help my students grasp these important concepts. I am requesting three Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats as well as math manipulatives including sets of Hands-On Fraction Tiles, Fraction Multipliers, and Factor Triangles. My students will use the Hands-On Fraction Tiles and Fraction Multipliers to helps develop fluency in these important math skills.
My students need hands on practice to develop fraction and decimal fluency.
Math can be intimidating, and using hands on materials makes learning fun. My students will use these resources during small group practice time, taking the intimidation and stress away from learning important math skills.
