These materials will help my students make posters of what happened back in the 1960s when we explore The Outsiders together. My students will compare and contrast the setting of this novel with today's society. They love dressing up as a Greaser or Soc and presenting their projects!
The whole school loves this day. The students really get into it! Parents would not have to worry about buying a poster board the night before it is due. We all know this happens as they are teenagers!
The binders will help the less fortunate feel equal to the other students who can afford them.
