Redwood Preparatory is a small charter school tucked in the middle of Humboldt County. Living so close to the ocean and beautiful redwood forest opens up many fantastic learning experiences for our TK-8th students. Our school was started in 2011 by a group of 5 passionate teachers that decided that they wanted to be a part of a school that inspired young minds with creative teaching approaches, flexible seating options and technology based education all while striving for academic excellence. I have been teaching 5th grade at Redwood Prep since 2013. This is my 5th year teaching and I love providing my students with many different learning experiences and opportunities. Making my students excited to learn is one of my main goals as a teacher!
