Even though the needs of the students vary all of the students enjoy expressing them selves and creating something tangible. We have art once or twice a week and the students love new ideas. We link our art projects to curriculum and seasons making the art projects meaningful and educational.
Art lets my students express themselves especially for some of the students that do not otherwise know how to express themselves appropriately. With this donation the students will have access to new art projects that are higher quality than what is normally accessible through classroom materials. After being in my class for three years, the new art materials will excite and motivate the students. They will be able to create gifts for family members and friends as well as for themselves.
