Each and every day my students are doing hands on learning. They love being able to be independent by having their own resources. I try to let them have a chance to shine after each part of the lesson. I want my students to be actively engaged and feel that they are very important to my classroom.
The students complete quick assessments on their whiteboards after each lesson for the teacher to see what each child needs more help with. I use the whiteboards as a fun and engaging way of assessment. They are illustrating their struggles to me, so that I can spend one-on-one time with them to go deeper. The erasers will make it easier for them to quickly transition from each question.
