We are looking to expand their voice and choice by adding portable CD players, headphones, and books on CD to our listening station. Our current listening center still uses cassette tapes and is out dated and have to stay within one area of the room to read. This project would allow my students to have the freedom to choose where they sit and learn the best! Students will be allowed to choose what they read on an individual basis and according to their reading level! One of my goals for this center is to differentiate students learning by allowing them to choose. This literacy center in our Daily 5 rotation is by far one of the most used within our classroom!
