Students who pass the AP test can earn college credits. By earning college credits, they are encouraged to enter college and aren't discouraged by the costs. It is my first year of teaching high school AP lit. and I just don't have the class novel sets built up yet to be able to offer more than the class textbook. I have taught middle school for 18 years and I don't want my change to high school to impact negatively these incoming students. I need your help to build my high school classroom library so that I can provide additional literature to these hard-working students who are interested in getting ahead in school.
