I plan to use the carpet everyday during whole group instruction, small group games, and individual reading. The carpet will provide students with a comfortable personal space to learn while working with peers and listening to the teacher. Having their own individual spot on the carpet will help with organized seating/clear boundaries, body control, and focus/attention. With this carpet, each child has a place to call their own. Five color-coded rows make it easy to divide the class into small groups. The colorful squares are roomy and you can use the colors to play games or dismiss students by rows.
