At age five and six personal space is still a work in process. Having this wonderful shape and colored carpet would not only help my students with personal space but also reinforce color and shape knowledge. It will also allow transitions to go smoother because I can call on a certain shape or color for the transition. Having this wonderful carpet will allow for meaningful instruction since my students will be able to have a spot during our learning time that is theirs! I know my students and myself will be overjoyed to have the carpet as an addition to our classroom!
