I am privileged and excited to be teaching a wonderful group of 5th graders at an International Baccalaureate School in Washington state. My district is high poverty, with a diverse cultural and socioeconomic makeup. School funding simply doesn't allow for a lot of technology at the elementary level. It is essential in this day and age that students not only learn to use technology but understand how they can use it to help them succeed and achieve their goals.
