Moving is so incredibly important and helps promote learning. As a teacher of 10 year olds I know how much energy they have. While we take multiple 'brain breaks' through out the day so many students need to move to help them concentrate.
Having flexible seating will give my students the opportunity to move their bodies and keep them engaged in their learning. After researching flexible seating I knew it would be perfect for my students. I see way too many of them struggle because they don't get to move as much as they need.
It's hard to believe that 60 minutes a day is all that is required for movement. With flexible seating options my students will be moving for way more than that! My students know that being active is important to me, now I can have the opportunity to show them the difference being active makes by incorporating it into my classroom!
