I am a 5th grade teacher at LM Prince Elementary! Last year I learned more from my students than I ever thought imaginable. One thing my students and I really enjoyed last year was the novel studies in guided reading. I have been trying to find a story that teaches a variety of themes, a reader can easily connect with, and a book that my kids wouldn't want to put down! I just finished reading, The War that Saved my Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. It was truly moving! This book will be used in literature circles during guided reading. Please help me put this amazing book into the hands of each student in my classroom!
