Exploration in the classroom is essential. Last year, my school became a STEM school. With that being said, every morning our students come into the building and participate in Makers Morning. Makers Morning is a STEM exploration activity. Students are able to use hands on manipulatives and activities to expand their creative thinking and also develop their collaboration skills with classmates as well! For example, the magnetic tiles, building blocks and picasso tiles will allow them to think outside the box and create new things! My project is to support my 2nd grade learners throughout this process! Lastly, the floor disks will allow them to create, explore, and play with our stem activities on our classroom floor that often times gets really dirty easily. Your help supporting my project will be much appreciated!
