My students love learning about current events, but need materials that are on their reading level. Time for Kids has articles and resources that are interesting, age-appropriate and can be used with our study of U.S. history.
My students will use Time for Kids weekly to explore current events and read quality nonfiction that is at their reading level.
I will use the articles to spark classroom discussions. Students will write in response to what they have read. In Social Studies, I will use the Time for Kids activities and teacher materials to help connect current events to past events in American history.
