My students are learning to be creative problem solvers. They are learning to take risks and develop a design thinking mindset. The Cricut Maker will allow my students to create not consume items they are needing to accomplish a task/ project. Anyone can follow directions and make something. It is the ACT of making that is important because that is where the learning is happening. I want a diverse system of unique thinkers. I don't want a classroom where everyone is the same. It is about the freedom of us with our hands to create the world we live in.
