These materials will make a difference in my student's learning because they will be excited to practice their writing. The materials that I am requesting are going to be used for students to practice writing their name, making words, and practice alphabet. By using the boards, to write their name it will help them recall what letter comes next. The students will also practice writing the letters of the alphabet on the color changing boards. The students will be able to explore different tools for making words like personal chalkboards and draw and touch boards. In my project I also included upper/lower case matching locks, this will help the student recognize the letters by matching and then writing on the boards.
While providing different avenues we are still accomplishing the same goal, I feel that would be a win. At the same time, they are learning to write they are also learning letter recognition which is wonderful.
